...With another account. In my other account, I seem to have lost the ability to compose posts. The button in the drop-down menu is gone. I can’t even write on that personal blog anymore. I know some people here have had similar problems before and found solutions (wasn’t there a link?), but I’ve forgotten what those solutions were. Any advice?

Since you saved this post you probably already found my work around. I would just bookmark these.

Yeah... Sadly, I tried th e workaround, but although it allowed me to compose a post, I couldn’t get the post to publish. All it gave me were “Post save failed” messages. I guess Kinja is just really determined not to let me post anything there (s igh).

Usually I simply reload Kinja and it works. Sometimes clearing the cache and resetting the WiFi helps. I remember being in that boat of misery. Not fun.
I don’t recommend trying to recycle posts like I did before I discovered the workaround. Seems like Kinja is just getting cabin fever today. Try again tomorrow.

I’ve been unable to make a post, too. Turns out, the reason why is that on November 4, 2019, Kinja removed the ability for new accounts to compose posts. Naturally, everyone freaked out about this, so they left the ability for previously existing accounts to continue posting. That’s why my awesomeaustinv account can still post, but my Drake account (and your account) can’t. Wh ich totally sucks for both of us, but there’s nothing we can do about it.
